07-04-2010 Dr. Esco Buff is a recognized leader in the field of founder farrier treatment and is routinely
consulted for horse's that are foundered or with therapeutic shoeing needs. He typically
shoes between 90 to 140 new foundered horse cases per year.
If you would like the best chances to save your laminitic or foundered horse, then it is
advisable to follow Dr. Buff's radiograph procedures and shoeing protocol.
In a twelve year period (1991 to 2003), Dr. Buff has documented and shod over 625
new-foundered cases with a 98% survival rate. Of these 82% returned to their original
state of soundness, 16% were unable to return to their original state of soundness and
2% were euthanized.

Our little piece of paradise is located just seven kilometres from Kingston, Ontario, which makes for a great location for anyone owning a horse in the city and doesn't want to drive far. The stable sits on roughly 500 acres of land, which is great for trail riders. We also have a 60 x 60 round pen, a 140 x 80 sand ring with proper footings and drainage, very nice after a rain storm (dry within the hour), numerous cut trails for riding, and a 200 x 330 outdoor jumping course (grass, and cut at least twice a week), which has it's own set of jump standards (15 jumps in total). The barn floor and all twelve stalls are rubber matted, along with the three sets of cross-ties that are available.
We provide each horse with its individual box stall ranging between pony stalls (8 x 8) to horse stalls (10 x 10, 10 x 12 and 10 x 14).
The horses are brought in every night and put out in the morning as early as weather permits it (we don't put horses out on really bad days i.e. freezing rain, lightning storms or extreme heat/cold). We have four paddocks for the horses, ranging from one acre to around 20 acres at least. In front of the barn there are two small pens (30 x 40 and 30 x 30) for new horses to start in or for any emergencies that may come up. All of our paddock are lush with grass and are seeded yearly.

Trained W,T,C moves off leg , stops on a dime has the ability to spin. She has had over 60 days of professional retraining already this year as she had been sitting for a bit. We have no real past history on her to know what she was trained for orginally but we do know she had a foal at one point and that she loves foals. According to her first trainer she is very cowy. She doesn't bite, kick ,buck nor rear and has no vices. She tacks , trailers, grooms , baths, clips , loves fly spray , good with her feet and with the farrier needs no shoes . Has some natural training and will ground tie . She loves to run .She is good with other horses, dogs ,cats, goats .
She needs a experience rider not an beginner or intermediate rider. When we got her we were told she was a beginners show horse but she definitly is not and never has never been a kids horse at all.
She is being ridden weekly by a trainer to keep her going till she is sold as she is to much horse for our riding abilities here. We are looking for a quieter friendly horse with more whoa then go horse and she is a horse that is more go then whoa type. Trainer says she would make a nice western games horse with the right rider
